2016 A YEAR IN REVIEW

It’s been quite a year for world health.

2016 saw new outbreaks of yellow fever, Zika virus, Ebola and too many humanitarian crises. There was a world focus on inequality in healthcare, antimicrobial resistance and plans unveiled to combat diabetes. On a positive note some regions were announced to be Malaria-free for the first time.
